About TRACE

Alexandra Wrage is president and founder of TRACE. She is the author of several books on bribery and host of the training video Toxic Transactions: Bribery, Extortion and the High Price of Bad Business, produced by NBC. Ms. Wrage hosts the popular weekly podcast Bribe, Swindle or Steal.

Ms. Wrage is a member of the Advisory Committee of the Vancouver Anti-Corruption Institute; a member of the Board of Directors of the Integrity Fellowship and Sanctuary, which provides vital support to anti-corruption activists and whistleblowers in extremis; and chair of the Board of Directors of the TRACE Foundation, a grant-making organization established to encourage greater commercial transparency and advance anti-bribery education. She is also a member of the Boards of Directors of Ethixbase360 and of  Speed Skating Canada. She frequently participates on the B20 Taskforce on Anti-Corruption, drafting recommendations to G20 leaders to consider in their global economic policies, and was a member of FIFA’s failed Independent Governance Committee until her resignation in 2013.

Ms. Wrage is the primary advisor to the forthcoming documentary Bribe Inc. She was featured in the Netflix docuseries FIFA Uncovered, as well as two BBC audio productions investigating FIFA. She is a guest blogger for Forbes and has been featured in media including the BBC, CNN, the Wall Street Journal, Foreign Policy, The Guardian, NPR and Reuters.

Ms. Wrage was named one of the “Canadians Changing the World” by The Globe & Mail and was awarded the Women in Compliance “Lifetime Achievement Award for Service to the Compliance Industry.” She is a life member of the Council on Foreign Relations.

Raised in Canada and now dividing her time between Vancouver and Annapolis, Ms. Wrage studied law at King’s College, Cambridge University. She has provided anti-bribery consulting or training in over 140 countries.

As Senior Director II, Compliance Training, Sunny oversees a global team responsible for the development of a diverse portfolio of eLearning modules addressing topics including anti-corruption, antitrust, conflicts of interest, sanctions and anti-money laundering as well as the provision of compliance training services to hundreds of global multinationals around the globe. Additional oversight includes management of TRACEgifts and TRACEpro, TRACE’s advanced training program.

Prior to joining TRACE, Sunny held the position of Vice President, Content & Operations at Momentum, where she oversaw the development of 25+ solutions-oriented, legal, compliance and regulatory-focused corporate training programs per year specifically designed for Fortune 500 organizations. Additionally, Sunny oversaw all corporate operations for the company including staff training and development, employee engagement and conduct, process improvement, and contractor and third-party relationships. Prior to Momentum, Sunny held the position of Industry Manager, FCPA & International Trade Division at the American Conference Institute where she oversaw a product portfolio that included one of most widely-known events in the FCPA community, The International Conference on the Foreign Corrupt Practices Act.

Sunny possesses specialized subject matter expertise in global compliance and corporate training best practices and has authored several articles on the topic of compliance training.

A Philadelphia native, Sunny holds both a juris doctorate and a Master of Laws (LL.M.) in Corporate Law, Global Compliance & Ethics from Widener University's Delaware Law School.

As the Senior Director of Operations, Lisa oversees TRACE’s operations team and heads the legal/contracts team, managing all commercial contracts and day-to-day operational legal matters. She also contributes to business-related strategies, policies, and procedures.

Lisa brings over a decade of legal and business experience to her role. Prior to joining TRACE, Lisa worked as an attorney at Towne Park, LLC, and as a manager in SC&H Group’s Contracts Compliance Consulting practice group, where she audited and conducted risk assessments of Fortune 100 companies’ third-party supplier relationships. She also worked as a contracts administrator in the procurement department of the Johns Hopkins Health System Corporation. Lisa is a certified mediator and trained collaborative law practitioner.

Lisa earned her juris doctorate from the University of Maryland School of Law, where she served as Class President and the Managing Editor of the Maryland Journal of International Law, and her bachelor's degree., summa cum laude, from the College of Notre Dame of Maryland where she double-majored in political science and religious studies. Lisa is admitted to practice law in the State of Maryland.

Pia Vining is the Senior Director, Member Services at TRACE. She focuses on complex member engagements and partner law firm relationships. Pia has nearly 15 years of experience in the compliance field. Most recently she worked for Tcompliance (now ethiXbase360), where she developed customized, best practice third party management programs for multinational customers. Prior to joining Tcompliance, she was a litigation specialist in the tax department of Miller & Chevalier. She graduated from the University of Helsinki, Faculty of Law, and holds an LL.M. degree from The George Washington University Law School. She speaks Finnish and Swedish. She is a member of the New York Bar Association.

As a specialist on the eLearning Development Team, Sean creates and modifies training modules leveraging his passion for design. Prior to joining TRACE, he worked in the private sector of eLearning development building courses for major companies such as Disney and institutions such as the University of Texas A&M Qatar. He is a proud member of RAMNATION as a VCU Alumni.

Lynn joined TRACE over 16 years ago. She assists in all aspects of event logistics and supports TRACE member companies. Prior to joining TRACE, Lynn handled marketing and communications for the Society of Vascular Ultrasound. She also worked as Director of Operations for ELECTRI International – the Foundation for the National Electrical Contractors Association. Lynn holds a bachelor’s degree in psychology from Mount Holyoke College.

Desi has worked with TRACE for nine years. As Member Services Consultant, she ensures that TRACE members receive the full benefit of their membership, while also providing operational support to the organization. From conducting onboarding calls to navigating complex requests, Desi provides exceptional customer service and serves as a single point of contact for questions and problem solving. Prior to joining TRACE, she worked for the United States European Command, where she supported senior defense personnel and NATO partners. 

Based in the APAC region, Lanie is a training support and eLearning development consultant, where she provides support customizing training modules for members, also offering support with additional training-related tasks as necessary. Prior to supporting TRACE, Lanie worked in learning & development for large organizations. She holds a Bachelor of Science in Information Technology. 

Gail is the Lead Compliance Training Consultant in the APAC region overseeing a team of two who provide support to the TRACE Compliance Training Team. In this role, Gail provides companies with training support, administrator training and product demos. Prior to supporting TRACE, she worked in the education field as a Chinese as a Second Language teacher. She holds a bachelor’s degree in psychology from the De La Salle University 

As a Learning Management System (LMS) & Training Support Coordinator, Hannah helps maintain the TRACE LMS, supports the delivery of eLearning and provides members with training support. Prior to joining TRACE, she worked in the field of human resources and training administration, where she helped companies build and enforce compliance training programs and procedures. 

As a specialist on the eLearning Development Team, Kayla creates and modifies training modules and assists with quality control. Prior to joining TRACE, she worked as a project manager for a small eLearning company, where she managed development, quality and delivery of eLearning projects. She holds a bachelor’s degree in communications with minors in business and public relations from the University of Rhode Island. 

Beverly brings more than 20 years of experience in information technology to TRACE. As Senior Manager, Information Systems & DPO, she oversees the continued development of an innovative, robust and secure technology environment. Prior to joining TRACE, Beverly was the Chief Information Officer at Aveníu Brands, a U.S. subsidiary of Raventós Codorníu, one of world’s oldest winegrowing businesses located in Spain. Fluent in three languages, Ms. Gryder was born in Canada and holds an MBA in Information Security from James Madison University, a Master’s Degree from the University of Waterloo, a Bachelors of Education from Western University and a Double Honors Bachelor of Arts degree from Wilfrid Laurier University. 

As a Learning Management System (LMS) & Training Support Coordinator, James provides customer support to TRACE members assisting with training rollouts and helping to resolve any other issues that might occur while utilizing the TRACE LMS. Prior to joining TRACE, he worked in a warehouse setting as a training coordinator, ensuring staff safety and compliance with all necessary trainings. 

As a specialist on the eLearning Development Team, Alyssa designs compliance training modules and facilitates the translation and localization of TRACE eLearning content. Prior to joining TRACE, she worked as a public high school teacher. She holds a bachelor’s degree in English and a master’s degree in curriculum and instruction from the University of Maryland.

At TRACE, Kseniya leverages her expertise in data science and analytics to bolster product delivery and glean valuable insights into the organization's operations. Prior to joining TRACE, she worked in the energy field where she consulted utilities on various distributed energy resource and electrification topics. She holds a masters in Public Policy and Information Systems from University of Michigan.

Born in Canada, David Ireland joined TRACE from a long-time member company in 2014 after 25 years as a director of international business development for mid-size multinational corporations and as a Canadian diplomat. Fluent in five languages, David has extensive business-to-government experience in emerging markets, notably in Latin America and in Africa. David is now based in Mexico City and supports TRACE members and clients worldwide.

As a coordinator on the eLearning Development Team, Meg creates and modifies training modules with a particular focus on member customizations and course accessibility. Before joining TRACE, she worked as a high school English teacher for five years, which honed her learning content creation skills. Meg has a bachelor’s degree in English from Randolph-Macon College and a master’s degree in reading education from Old Dominion University. 

Cierra brings over a decade of hospitality experience to the role of Administrative Assistant/Office Coordinator. As part of her responsibilities, Cierra assists the Member Services team with various membership-related requests, coordinates company events, and manages TRACE’s day-to-day office needs. Prior to joining TRACE, she worked in the field of support services in the hospitality industry.

Rachel Mont is the Product Manager for both TRACEpro and TRACEgifts. In this role, Rachel directly oversees the management of each tool, working closely with TRACE members to ensure their use of each product is maximized and tailored to meet the needs of their business. Prior to joining TRACE, Rachel served as Director of Continuing Education for a company publishing medical continuing education courses. She holds a bachelor’s degree in both anthropology and English literature from Washington University. 

As Operations & Accounts specialist, Iku provides accounts payable support and assists with membership-related invoicing. Prior to joining TRACE, she worked in the field of international trade, where she managed office operations, and the 18th Judicial DA’s state prosecution office in Colorado as a legal assistant. She was born in Japan and holds a paralegal certificate in the state of Colorado and a bachelor’s degree in sociology from Rissho University in Japan.

As LMS and Helpdesk Support Specialist, Summer assists members with technical issues and provides training support. Prior to joining TRACE, she worked in the healthcare field before transitioning over to information technology. She holds a bachelor’s degree in Interpersonal Communications from Rowan University.

Yulia manages and oversees all accounting and finance operations of TRACE. She serves as an integral member of the Operations team, assisting with management and general business operations, and serves as TRACE’s primary contact to the public and member companies regarding accounting and invoicing matters.

Yulia brings over 15 years of accounting experience to her role, including experience in financial statement preparation and analysis, financial statements auditing, general ledger accounting and taxation. Prior to joining TRACE, she worked as Senior Accountant at Colossal Contracting and AMS Group, and as Assistant Controller at Summit Business Technologies. In these roles she assisted company’s Corporate Controller with all accounting and financial operations. Yulia also has 9 years of public accounting experience with local CPA firms.

Yulia earned her master’s degree in mathematics from Ulyanovsk State University in Russia, and her Graduate Certificate in Accounting from University of Maryland University College. 

Emma conducts legal research and writing for the TRACE Resource Center, as well as liaises with TRACE International Partner Firms. Prior to joining TRACE, she worked for private foundations where she acted as the Grants Management Assistant. She holds a bachelor’s degree in psychology from Northwestern University, and a juris doctorate from Boston College Law School. 

Based in the APAC region, Ivy provides support to the Compliance Training Team, assisting members with learning management system (LMS)-related requests. Prior to TRACE, Ivy worked in the field of International Organization for Standardization (ISO) certification and training services for 10 years in Dubai, where she helped companies build their audit teams through training. She also served as a Multi-region Lead Administrator for eLearning at her previous company, where she helped set up the LMS. She holds a bachelor’s degree in chemistry from Central Luzon State University in Science City of Muñoz, Philippines.

Naudy has been with TRACE for the past seven years and is currently Manager of Compliance Training Operations on the member services team, serving as a primary point of contact for members. In this capacity, she ensures members are fully leveraging their membership benefits and aware of the tools and resources available to them. She is a native Spanish speaker and holds a degree in applied science.

As Associate Director of Compliance Training, Blaise supports compliance training initiatives for hundreds of global multinational organizations. Prior to her work with TRACE, Blaise was a lobbyist for the Maryland General Assembly for four years, reviewing such topics as budgetary issues, healthcare rules and regulations, and environmental and energy legislation. Blaise has a Master's in Legislative Affairs from the George Washington University and a bachelor's degree from the University of Maryland from which she graduated with honors.

Lina is a Member Services Associate on the Member Services Team. In her role, she helps members fully leverage their membership benefits and assists with any compliance needs they may have. Prior to joining TRACE Lina owned a small business that she built from her residential garage to a downtown storefront. She holds a bachelor's degree in International Business from Accadis Business School, Germany. 

As Systems Administrator, Brandy provides technical support and ensures all IT systems and networks are securely configured and maintained. Prior to joining TRACE, she built and maintained systems and provided technical support in a large data center environment. She holds a degree in information systems security from Anne Arundel Community College and is pursuing her bachelor’s degree in cybersecurity and information technology at the University of Maryland Global Campus. She is also CompTIA Security+ certified.

Erica is a Member Services Associate on the Member Services Team. In this role, she is the primary contact for TRACE members, providing guidance and exceptional support on any compliance needs they may have. Prior to joining TRACE, Erica worked in business management as a regional sales support manager, building strong client relationships and helping companies grow. She holds a bachelor’s degree in Business Administration from Western Governors University and is certified in leading teams to success.

Jared supports members in their use of TRACE’s eLearning. Prior to joining TRACE, Jared spent nine years at GE Healthcare in learning management system (LMS) administration and customer training operations. He holds a bachelor’s degree in secondary education (history/social studies) from the University of Wisconsin-Madison. 

As Creative Design Manager & Marketing Specialist, Lia brings a wealth of creativity and expertise to her role at TRACE. She plays a vital role in shaping TRACE's visual identity and branding, utilizing her skills to design a range of marketing assets such as brochures, info sheets, presentation decks, logos, and more. Alongside her design work, Lia also assists in coordinating, designing and executing TRACE's email marketing and social media campaigns. She holds a bachelor's degree in Fine Arts with a focus on Communication Arts from Virginia Commonwealth University.

As a Business Development Specialist, Charles works with companies to match their needs with TRACE tools. With ten years of sales and management experience, Charles has a proven track record of driving growth and customer acquisition. He is skilled in relationship management, market research and analytics, as well as mentoring entry level sales professionals. 

Chere brings more than 20 years of association management expertise to TRACE. Her broad scope in content marketing covers various facets including digital strategies, internal and external content scheduling and creation, executing membership campaigns, and digital asset management. Across her tenures at premiere Washington, D.C. association’s such as ASAE, America's Health Insurance Plans, Digital Content Next, and the National Grants Management Association, Chere played pivotal roles in volunteer coordination, account management, event planning, and fostering vibrant online communities.

Justin is an accomplished IT professional with over a decade of enterprise experience, currently serving as a Manager, LMS & Technical Support Team on the Compliance Training Team. In this role, he oversees the LMS support team and develops and maintains the TRACE LMS. Previously, Justin was a business owner and award-winner in the IT industry. He has extensive experience with government contracts in IT and learning & development.
